Having transitioned from a clinical background to industry, Jwala Karnik, MD, has a unique story. After completing 9 years of post-graduate training to become a nephrologist, she chose to pursue a career on the business side of medicine. After taking a position as a consultant at the highly esteemed McKinsey & Company, she has gone on to work with myriad companies in the aesthetic space, including Suneva, Myoscience, and Hydrafacial.
